One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

Kicktail

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

LOW CAVE

Mellow concave that barely feels like it’s there, but designed to give you the control you need, when you need it.

SANDED WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

A wider and slightly longer version of the Dinghy, the Tugboat comes in at 30″ long and 9″ wide for a super solid, stable feeling ride. The wider platform is ideal for riders with larger feet who are looking for a comfortable cruiser board experience. The extra meat also inspires confidence and gives you more platform to land on when doing tricks on larger obstacles. The Tugboat is pressed with 7 plies of Canadian maple for a light, stiff and poppy ride. It comes set up with Polar Bear 155mm trucks for maximum stability and leverage. 60mm 78a Lil EZ Hawgs wheels finish off the setup and ensure you’ll have a smooth ride with plenty of roll speed and grip without having to worry about wheel bite.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

Awesome board

It’s a good overall board, bigger and more stable than the dinghy. If you want something can handle longer distances ride, this is the right board. If you want nimble and smaller, go with the dinghy. I do recommend go with larger wheel if you want smoother grip feel or stick with the 60ez if you want some sliding in action.

Tugboat with Doozies

I absolutely love this setup, I have the previous version of the tugboat and loved it but this one took it to another level. The wheels are sooo smooth and larger contact patch makes it so kudu smoother over small cracks and pebbles. Recommend 100%

Love the tugboat 🤙

I recently decided at the ripe age of 39 I wanted a skateboard. I grew up on inline skates and stopped for a long time once I went off to college. I bought another pair when the pandemic hit. Love them but after grabbing the tugboat I regret waiting so long to get into the sport. I'm enjoying it so much I've roped my better half into giving it a try and our 8 year old wants to get involved too. I ordered a "oops" drop hammer that should be here Sunday. I can't wait for it to arrive.

I'm a athletic 6'3 240 with a size 15 shoe and went with the tugboat because of suggestions via reddit. The board is perfect for my size and I have plenty of room for my feet. I did swap the bushings for hards and recently swapped the wheels to 70mm Supremes. I couldn't be more pleased. Great customer service too as I had some questions after getting the board. I will likely always own a Landyatchz board now. I also love the design on the jet ski. Lol
