CNC WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

The Stratus 46 is a flexy longboard shape designed specifically for freestyle and longboard dancing. At 45.5" long by 9.25" wide, with griptape only where you need it, this board has plenty of space for all of your cross-stepping needs. The Stratus Sanctuary uses an 8 ply Canadian Maple construction to give a nice medium flex feel that returns lots of energy out of each turn but still gives you a confident feeling when landing tricks. The shape has been modified slightly this year to work with the new Grizzly Gen 6 180mm trucks while still having tons of pop. The Stratus rolls on 63mm Fatty Hawgs to keep the complete light and let you run your trucks nice and loose without worrying about wheelbite.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

Fantastic flowing board

What a board! Slick, smooth, and speedy. Perfect for long sloping carves and distance boarding. I’m 5’8” and it rides awesome. My guy is 6’2” and it rides even better. Art work is awesome and makes me smile.

The Complete deck

The complete is pretty good but the bearings it comes with (Bear bearings) are absolute garbage, especially for a long board. I know they're garbage because when you spin a longboard wheel it should spin for a long time not less than 10 seconds. It's a really nice dancer board but lacks the proper amount of grip. Because the deck surface is all smooth wood it's really easy to slip on accident, especially if it's dusty or wet. I added grip tape around the edges to solve this problem. Great deck, needs a bit more grip tape, replace the bearings.
