One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

DEEP CAVE

Concave designed to really lock your feet in while adding responsiveness and control.

DROP DOWN

A lowered foot platform provides the most stable ride and gives your feet pockets to lock into while skating. These boards are also easier for pushing and foot-breaking.

Made in Canada

Ohhh Canada Eh!

SYMMETRICAL

Go both ways with symmetrical board design. Generally found in freeride and downhill decks, these boards allow the rider to skate both regular and switch without changing up their stance.

The Fixed Blade is a drop-down DH/Freeride shape that is designed to give you a low, comfortable platform for exploring big hills as well as getting around town as quickly as possible. You may have seen team riders like Dillon Stephens rocking top mounted Switchblades over the years on the race circuit, but now we’ve dialed it in and made it available to everyone. The top mounted design gives you ultimate control over your trucks while deep concave, matched with aggressive W concave and foot pockets at the drops, give you the reference points you need to explore the limits of your freeriding. The 8 ply maple construction, bolstered by carbon stringers and a bottom fiberglass ply, keeps the board stiff and under control. The Fixed Blade measures in at 38" long by 9.8" wide with a wheelbase of 29” and comes set up with 180mm Gen 6 Grizzly trucks and 70mm 78a Hawgs Supremes wheels for premium freeride capabilities straight out of the box.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out and see what you like the most!

Don’t like the W shape.

I hate how they don’t have any other drop deck styles that aren’t W shaped. It makes my foot ache after a few hours of riding. This is my fourth board and it’s the first time I’ve had a W shaped board

Best longboard I’ve ever ridden.

I got this board a year ago today, and I have been in love with it since the day I received it in the mail. It has a “spine” in the middle of the deck to let you know where the center is. It rides as smooth as butter. The trucks are Amazing and turn with such ease. It makes it easy to carve and go down hills. It’s heavy but it is the perfect board for downhill rides as its stability is unmatched. I would definitely buy this again and I’d rate it higher if I could.

Love this board

This is the second board I've bought ans love it. It's a little more flexible then my other board and a lot easier to slide on. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because I'm constantly hearing rattling noises that I still have not figured out how to fix. So if anyone could help me with that it would be most appreciated.

5 month update

So it's been around 5-6 months since I made my original review and I can confidently say that for mastering freeride this is by far the best, it's a very good middle ground of forgiving and challenging as it is still dependent on your technique meaning that it doesn't do everything for you but that's how a board should be as I have immensely built my skill in freeriding over the course of time that I have used this thing, I still feel the same way that I did when I bought it but I now have a concept of what it's capable of.

The fixed blade is the single best freeride symmetrical board I have ever had the privilege to ride as there is nothing else like it in terms of construction as the carbon stringers in the board make it extremely predictable and stable as there is little to no flex, if your going to even consider learning to freeride this is the best way to go about it by far
