Designed to rally big mountain terrain and conquer World Cup podiums, the Switchblade has proven itself equally adept at getting you to the grocery store and ripping down your local hill safely. The mellow drops, long wheelbase and low ride height combine to offer a drifty, confidence-inspiring feel perfect for riders looking to up their freeride game. The Switchblade 40 is the longer version, offering a more stable ride and slightly easier slide initiation, as well as being a bit more comfortable for taller riders.

The Switchblade is a double dropped freeride shape that is designed to give you a low, comfortable platform for exploring big hills as well as getting around town as quickly as possible. Deep concave and foot pockets at the drops give you the reference points you need to explore the limits of your freeriding, and the 9 ply maple construction keeps the board stiff and under control. The 40 is the larger of the two sizes we offer, measuring 40" long by 10" wide and offers a driftier and more stable ride. This board comes set up with 180mm Gen 6 Grizzly trucks and 70mm 80a Mini Zombie Hawgs wheels for premium freeride capabilities straight out of the box.

Slightly more flexy than the Switchblade night, graphic is incredible.

Graphic is CNC engraved and looks amazing, you can feel inside the engraving and it's awesome.

Board is slightly more flexy than my switchblade night, which is nice for freeride and pushing, but I'd rather take my switchblade 40 night out on a big hill.

I love this board and would easily recommend it to anyone. The blue accent in the wood is also quite pretty.

It has nice foot pockets, and unlike many other downhill/freeride Landyachtz boards the width stays 10 inches throughout the board, instead of decreasing to about 9 inches to the rear like the Evo, which I like.

The switchblade is a timeless shape and is a great all around board for pushing, downhill, freeride, and even electric skateboards. It's super easy to slide btw! Slightly easier than my drop cat 38 actually.

Very good choice! But be careful with the color.

I bought it as a gift. The color of the deck was very important. It is said that the color is black. But when I got it I found out that it's dark green. So I was very upset and disappointed about the color.

But the other characteristics are perfect! Very nice deck! I took off the star only because of the color.

Everyone should have at least one

If you skateboard, you should have this board. If you do downhill you will go faster, if you freeride you will slide steezier, if you just ride park stuff you’ll stop and start doing downhill/FR, because this board makes you want to ride more. Sturdy, ergonomic, and badass, made for winners.
