Designed to rally big mountain terrain and conquer World Cup podiums, the Switchblade has proven itself equally adept at getting you to the grocery store and ripping down your local hill safely. The mellow drops, long wheelbase and low ride height combine to offer a drifty, confidence-inspiring feel perfect for riders looking to up their freeride game. The Switchblade 40 is the longer version, offering a more stable ride and slightly easier slide initiation, as well as being a bit more comfortable for taller riders.

First time in 25 years

What a fun board. Haven’t done this in 25 years and I love it just as much. So glad with this purchase.

The Favorite

This is definitely my favorite board. I skate NYC where there’s lots of obstacles - people, debris and rough roads- drop down deck is a bit more stable and the 40” length gives a smoother ride. 72mm plow kings also help with the rough roads and debris.

The perfect board

So I’m coming from the classic pin tail 40’’ style board that I’ve used for over 15 years. Finally decided to make a change and I am so glad I did. This board is amazing. It has a lower stance, more real estate for my big feet to balance on, and is overall a sturdier and more comfortable ride. I wasn’t sure about the grooves in the board at first but they are a great feature for gaining better traction on the board itself for stability over bumps, curves, high speed, everything. Super comfy board that’s perfect for cruising or for speed. My favorite board I’ve tried by far. Paired these with the ceramic bearings and the plow kings wheels and the Bear Gen 6 - 180mm 50 Degree Trucks. Perfect combo right there.
