Kicktail

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

SANDED WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

The Gordito is an oversized street shape that measures in at 35" long and 10" wide. The added length and wheelbase make this board a super stable machine capable of crushing freeride hills, ditches and skateparks. This board is also perfectly suited to taller riders or people with bigger feet who need more space than what a normal popsicle shape can provide. The Gordito is made with 7 plies of Canadian maple for a light, stiff and poppy ride. Polar Bear 180mm trucks match the width of this beast perfectly while still giving you the feeling you'd expect out of a TKP truck on a shape like this. 63mm Easy Hawgs complete this setup and will keep you rolling smoothly on any surface you encounter.

One of the biggest challenges in designing the Gordito was getting the right truck and finding a 180mm street truck with smooth artculation is a huge challenge! Thankfully the homies at Bear Trucks aren't ones to shy away from niche trucks and we're stoked to have their 180mm low-profile Polar Bears on the Gordito.

Flex Rating

Flex has a big impact on the overall feel of your board and is influenced by a bunch of different factors. The main ones being thickness of the deck, it's wheelbase and rider weight. To put the equation in laymans terms: more flex occurs when you decrease thickness of the deck, increase the wheelbase and increase rider weight. The more flex in your board the more carvy and agile it'll feel, less flex means it's more stable and suited for faster skating. We test every complete with a device we built in house, specifically to standardize flex ratings.

Really great! I knew what a great feeling ride it was already. Some rude young lady did a break stand on it for a good 10 seconds until it snapped in half.

Great cruiser for the Gorditos

As a fat boy myself, this is exactly what I was looking for as a cruiser. I wanted a cruiser, but didn’t want a mini cruiser, but I also didn’t want a longboard. The components are high quality, the board rides super smooth and is way more capable than I am. I am very much a beginner, only being able to push along, cruise down slight hills and bail off as means of stopping. I bought the board to spend time with my 3 year old who loves riding her scooter. She loves the board as well. The Gordito was a solid choice.
