Awesome for longboards!

These are excellent for longboards or cruisers. The wheels handle rough pavement and plow over rocks, branches, bottle caps etc. Warning DO NOT put these on a surf skate. When pumping and carving hard the surf skate will slide which is what they are designed for. I did it to test it out and I could feel the deck wanting to slide as I shifted my weight to pump. On a Cruiser or longboard these wheels are great. You have enough grip and they slide perfectly.

Amazing

Started longboarding during quarantine, got back to it more recently and wanted to learn sliding. Great wheels for beginners!

Perfect slide, amazing grip

I recently switched wheels from the old mini monster hawgs to the 80a mini zombie hawgs. These wheels are amazing for sliding. They don’t really leave a thane line, which I like because it causes less wheel wear. The slide feels really controlled, and the wheel is really good at slowing you down when you slide. Don’t think that just because these wheels are good at sliding that you’re sacrificing on grip, though. These wheels grip just about as well as my mini monsters. These wheels are confidence inspiring, in my opinion. The one drawback to them, which really doesn’t bother me, but might for people who live in areas with bad roads, like, roads that haven’t been serviced in twenty years bad, is that they do roll a bit rough and loud than something like a cruiser wheel. If you’re going to be getting into downhill longboarding, or want to try sliding, these wheels are the way to go. (Pictured is the wheels, just installed with new space all ceramic bearings, on my Landyachtz Drop Hammer.)
