100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

MEDIUM CAVE

The perfect middle ground, enough concave that you always feel glued to your board, but not too much to hurt your feet during a longer cruise.

ROCKER

Rocker provides a more comfortable foot platform by adjusting the deck angles to a skater’s natural stance. It also adds board control and increases responsiveness under your feet.

SANDED WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

This was my first longboard!

I was looking for a super cool pintail longboard and after purchasing this board at my local skate shop, not only am I in love with the design but after riding it for a couple of weeks it feels great under my feet and if you're looking for a pintail that's super fun and curvy, look no further. The grizzly trucks are badass and super durable. They also have a short width so it cuts through curves smoothly and it feels very responsive and comfortable under my feet. The board also has a nice mellow concave so your feet grip the board and stay locked in.

This was my first longboard and I haven't skated in awhile before getting one, so it's a great choice if you're learning how to ride. I even let my friends, who were experienced riders try it out, and they loved it. If there was one thing that I would change about the longboard, I would probably say that I would've preferred to have 70mm wheels instead of the 63mm but overall, it's a good set up and it feels great to ride!

Beginner friendly

The only negative I can think of is that it's hard to put down! I've had the board for a little over a month, and I've used it pretty much everyday. The board has a lot of flex so its really bouncy, it has a lot of space and the trucks are wide so you don't feel like you're going to tip over. Not to mention it only took 3 days to ship here to Winnipeg. Can't go wrong with this board!

Overall a good riding experience

The wheels are neon yellow

I HATE neon yellow

I was prepared to not get red wheels cuz of the shortage of stock but they had to give me the worst color.

Aside from that it is a wonderful board and when I take into consideration that they have a shortage in stock I'm willing to forgive them.

I just really hate neon yellow I dont know if I made that clear

I'm just really unlucky

So Far, So Fun

Just spent a few hours on this Totem for the first time. Last year I spent the whole year skating a Dugout, and that was my first board of any kind. I’m quite new to this, but last year alone I would estimate a total of ~8 hours per week on average for a total of about 175 to 200 hours over the ~6 months of good weather. So that’s where my reference point is, when discussing the Totem Paradise.

My example arrived with the 155mm Gen. 6 Grizzlies, 0.25” hard risers, and a set of yellow Fatty Hawgs, just to be clear about what the setup is.

I was slightly worried that I would lose much of the maneuverability and sharp-turning snappiness of the Dugout when going to the Totem, but I’m happy to say that it’s really not far behind. Yes the Dugout is capable of making sharper turns, but the Totem is still capable of riding the same sidewalks, bike paths, and streets. It’s quite nimble despite the nearly 28” wheelbase. So that’s good.

After just sort of cruising around with it and getting comfortable on it, since it does handle and feel quite differently than the Dugout, I tried carving down a few hills that, if not done correctly or are just straight-up bombed, are pretty sketchy and you can easily get well over 20mph before you’re anywhere near the bottom of the hill. I was really pleased with the way the Totem handles those hills, it’s a little less sketchy than doing it on the Dugout and the nice big platform is really comfortable. So the hill-carving ability is good…
