One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

Kicktail

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

LOW CAVE

Mellow concave that barely feels like it’s there, but designed to give you the control you need, when you need it.

SANDED WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

SYMMETRICAL

Go both ways with symmetrical board design. Generally found in freeride and downhill decks, these boards allow the rider to skate both regular and switch without changing up their stance.

Watch the Tony Danza Logo in action

The Tony Danza is a flexy longboard shape designed specifically for freestyle and longboard dancing. At 39.9″ long by 8.5″ wide and with griptape only where you need it, this board is perfectly suited to riders who are looking for a board that will flip faster and with less effort than a wider dancing board. A favourite of team riders like Carla Javier-Brea, this board opens up a lot of technical possibilities due to its light weight and compact size. The Tony Danza uses a 7 ply Canadian Maple construction to give a nice medium flex feel that returns lots of energy out of each turn but still gives you a confident feeling when landing tricks. The shape has been tailored perfectly to our Grizzly Gen 6 155mm trucks for lots of pop and no worries about wheelbite. The Tony Danza rolls on 63mm Fatty Hawgs to keep the complete light and rolling smooth. The narrow width and short wheelbase also make technical tricks more accessible to shorter riders or people with smaller feet. This is the perfect board to introduce younger kids to the world of freestyle and dancing.

Trucks

Wheels

We design our trucks and wheels to fit perfectly with each individual deck. We work tirelessly to ensure these elements come together to provide the best control and performance for your board. No slop, all control. Don't accept anything less than the perfect complete.   Learn More >

Flex Rating

Flex has a big impact on the overall feel of your board and is influenced by a bunch of different factors. The main ones being thickness of the deck, it's wheelbase and rider weight. To put the equation in laymans terms: more flex occurs when you decrease thickness of the deck, increase the wheelbase and increase rider weight. The more flex in your board the more carvy and agile it'll feel, less flex means it's more stable and suited for faster skating. We test every complete with a device we built in house, specifically to standardize flex ratings.

Great longboard, incredibly fun

I started longboarding on a cheap $50 board. Rode it for about 2 years until it snapped, expectedly. Decided to go for quality and get a nice dancing longboard. Landyachtz caught my eye, and the Tony Danza moreso. The design of the Tony Danza Logo is a vibe and I’ve had a blast riding it around. It came with pretty loose trucks but was super fun to carve with, and then after tightening a half turn it was super stable and perfect to do tricks on (yet you can still have a great time carving). Mad respect to Landyachtz for making a really good quality board, it’s worth the money and I hope it will last me a while

Lovely dance board and solid for commuting

I typically take the board out for commuting around campus on a daily basis, and it's quite a smooth ride, certainly an upgrade relative to the janky cruiser I was using before. It's also fantastic for dance with enough space, and is also aesthetically appealing. I will say, though, that while I really appreciate having no grip tape in the middle section of the board, I wish the grip tape extended a bit further into the center of the board to make it a bit easier to stay stable on the board when commuting. Otherwise, fantastic board with a solid set of wheels and nice risers
