ROCKER

Rocker provides a more comfortable foot platform by adjusting the deck angles to a skater’s natural stance. It also adds board control and increases responsiveness under your feet.

SOFT TOP GRIP

This grip tape has a layer of foam under its coarse top sheet. This helps hold your foot in place while reducing road vibration and creating an cushy, comfortable ride.

This set up combines our unique Bear Banger RKP front truck with a Polar Bear 155 in the rear for the ultimate surfy ride.

The Pocket Knife is a 29.6" long Surfskate shape that's 9.1" wide and features aggressive taper towards both the nose and tail and classic surfboard styling. 7-ply maple construction keeps the ride nice and responsive while mellow concave and a kicktail will keep your feet locked in for whatever obstacle you want to hit next. The Pocket Knife comes set up with our new Banger Surf Skate trucks combo featuring a Banger RKP front truck for maximum turn and response paired with a Polar Bear 155 rear for a stable, predictable ride. The setup is finished off with a set 65mm Surf Hawgs with a glossy surface for the smooth, grippy ride you need. The Pocket Knife Black Lines also comes with soft-top griptape for maximum comfort.

The Bear Bangerz Surfskate truck features a high angle RKP front truck with a unique geometry and extra tall bushings for an unbelievable amount of turn, paired with a Polar Bear 155 to give you a stable, leany back end you can really dig into with confidence

Flex Rating

Flex has a big impact on the overall feel of your board and is influenced by a bunch of different factors. The main ones being thickness of the deck, it's wheelbase and rider weight. To put the equation in laymans terms: more flex occurs when you decrease thickness of the deck, increase the wheelbase and increase rider weight. The more flex in your board the more carvy and agile it'll feel, less flex means it's more stable and suited for faster skating. We test every complete with a device we built in house, specifically to standardize flex ratings.

Tried it and loved it

I’ve been curious about surf skates for a few years now and decided to feed the urge and pick up this beauty. It drips quality from its clean polished look to its performance I’ve come to expect from my landyachtz boards. The pumpy carvy ride it exactly what I was looking for. While not a speed machine like my battle axe longboard, it’s smooth as butter performance keeps me coming back for leisurely cruises. I don’t have to push with my feet at all! It’s great never having to touch the ground. Changes your whole experience!
