NEW LANDYACHTZ COLLAB
WITH VANCOUVER BASED BAND SAID THE WHALE

Said The Whale have earned their place in the Canadian music pantheon. They’ve won a Juno Award, topped the alternative radio chart, and amassed a devoted base of fans who affectionately describe themselves as “SaidHeads” — all the while maintaining their resolute independent spirit. In this collaboration, Landyachtz and Said The Whale give you the opportunity to skate our new boards: The Dinghy Blunt X STW and the ATV Classic X STW.

SAID THE WHALE'S NEW ALBUM DANDELION

Dandelion fully realizes Said The Whale’s creative vision with towering hooks and sweeping orchestrations. The album came together during pandemic lockdowns in 2020 and 2021, when Said The Whale booked a string of sessions with producer Steve Bays (Hot Hot Heat, Mounties) at his studio in New Westminster, BC. The album is ripe with soaring anthems that blend giddy pop hooks with open-hearted lyricism. Roaring guitar distortion, fragile toy piano, giant-sized synths and baroque flourishes — every moment blooms with bright, vivid sounds and subtle details.

Lead single “Honey Lungs” has been inside the top-10 on the Canadian Alternative Radio chart for an impressive 22 weeks, and subsequent singles have teased what is sure to be the band’s strongest album to date.

ONE TREE HARVESTED RESULTS IN 60 TREES PLANTED

We believe Maple is the best material for skateboards. Unfortunately that means removing maple trees from the environment. To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree.
