The Evo is a classic example of downhill board design and the concept continues to be effective to this day. A lowered platform and directional wedging work to give you a super stable ride and front-loaded steering that gives you a ton of control while cornering hard. The Evo 36 is the more compact of our two Evo shapes, and at 36″ long by 9.5″ wide it offers more grip in the corners and a much more agile, responsive ride than the 40. Pressed with 9 plies of Canadian maple, the Evo 36 offers a stiff platform for downhill performance. New this year, the Evo comes with 155mm Gen 6 Bear Grizzly trucks to give you a bit more of a defined hookup from drifts and more control over the steering. The Evo rolls on 76mm 80a Monster Hawgs for lots of roll speed and grip as well as predictable drifts.

We design our trucks and wheels to fit perfectly with each individual deck. We work tirelessly to ensure these elements come together to provide the best control and performance for your board. No slop, all control. Don’t accept anything less than the perfect complete.

  1. Best Downhill Board that Money can Buy

I got this board a while back in a different color, and it was an amazing experience for me. After getting used to the feel of the board, appreciating the stability and responsiveness of it, I was able to take my downhill game to a whole new level. I bombed steep hills, long hills, curvy hills, all with an equal amount ease. I loved every second of every slide, and if I messed up and bit the dust, the first thing I checked was this board. Not a scratch usually…the Evo is built tough. My singular complaint has to do with riding over a gutter in the middle of the road in the first week of riding. My issue was not so much with the storm drain, which was easy to get over thanks to the stability of the board, but with the biggie Hawgs that came with my Evo. At the end of the ride I found them chipped pretty badly in the corners, and since I hadn’t fallen yet, I gathered that it must have been riding over the storm drain that caused them to chip. Wheels are expensive, and it’s disappointing when they get even a bit ruined in the first week of riding. All in all an amazing downhill/freeride board and my all-time favorite.
