The Dinghy Blunt is a new cruiser shape in the lineup and we're stoked on it. This shape has a little extra width where you need it and a good amount of taper to allow for a more directional feel. Matched up with slightly wider trucks, this shape is great for riders with bigger feet or anyone looking for a little more stability and confidence out of their cruiser board.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

EMBOSSED

Extra layers of ink raise the printing surface and provides a tactile experience. Something to run your hand over while planning your next ride.

Kicktail

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

LOW CAVE

Mellow concave that barely feels like it’s there, but designed to give you the control you need, when you need it.

Fenders

Also known as pressed wheel wells, flares are part of the board shape. The resulting bumps in the concave on top allow for larger wheels, looser trucks, and provide better control and more precise foot placement.

The Dinghy Blunt is a small cruiser board that comes in at 28.5" long and 8.6 wide. The extra width up front and significant taper means you get more leverage over the front truck than the rear one, which gives it more directional steering characteristics and a bit more stability than the classic Dinghy shape. The Fender version has flares pressed over the wheel wells allowing us to do away with the riser pads and offer a lower ride height for comfortable pushing. The Dinghy Blunt is pressed with 7 plies of Canadian maple for a light, stiff and poppy ride and comes set up with Polar Bear 130mm trucks to match the width of the deck. 63mm 78a Fatty Hawgs wheels finish off the setup and ensure you’ll have a smooth ride with plenty of roll speed and grip without having to worry about wheelbite.

Highlights

  1. 100% Canadian Maple

Fender Dump Truck

Compact, portable , surprisingly stable and FAST.

I take with me nearly all the time- so much fun to ride in the city snd in hillier areas.

Needless to say, it’s build and finish is of highest quality as per Landyachtz standards- the deck is sturdy and gorgeously painted, trucks turn so well and the Plow King wheels definitely live up to their reputation- I’ve bombed hills that have made me eat it on other cruisers- but the Dump Truck is surprisingly stable DH for such an agile board… 11/10

Great cruiser board for lots of fun

This board is very flowy with loose trucks. The rocker is great and is a lot of fun to mess around on sidewalks and stuff.

Love it

Wife got me the UV dinghy blunt for our anniversary and even though it took a week of straight riding before breaking the bearings in, and getting the trucks right where I want it, best cruiser I’ve ever had. Even though they were out of stock of the ocean teal blue, the black wheels it came with were still nice. Upgraded to the 63mm fatty hawgs and it’s an even nicer cruise.
