We’re not sure if this bear is our best friend or our worst nightmare, but we think artist Jesse Lonergan may know the Panda’s true intentions. SANDED WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

Fenders

Also known as pressed wheel wells, flares are part of the board shape. The resulting bumps in the concave on top allow for larger wheels, looser trucks, and provide better control and more precise foot placement.

With a wheelbase of 14.5”, a Width of 8” and a length of 28.5” the Classic Fender has all the exact same specs as the Classic. The way that the perimeter is cut out on the Classic Fender is identical to the Classic, but the mould has an added feature: wheel flares! Same Classic shape, different concave! The Dinghy Fender has two main attributes: it allows for more wheel clearance, and it locks your feet in. With the 105mm Polar Bear trucks and 72mm Plow King wheels, this setup is ideal if you like sliding, enjoy an aggressive riding style, or just want some huge wheels.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

This was my first cruiser, stepping out from normal skateboards. I absolutely love the shape and design of this deck and it is a great quality complete. It's become the board I grab before any other and I absolutely will be going to Landyachtz for my future longboard and cruiser purchases.

Might just be me.

I love the build! Trying something new and when I came across your YT, I immediately became hooked! I love the board, however, with my ability, I probably should have chose something different to start off. I have just gotten used to cruising and the kicktail has me doing awkward movements I’m not used to. Again, I love the build and I look forward to buying more boards in the future!

For riders big and small...

I bought this for my daughter to learn how to skate on, but I also ended up loving the board. Since it's "hers" I have to take it out when she's not around...

It's a great shape that is a fantastic blend of old and new school.. it's very well balanced and very agile . I can see why this is a team favorite.
