The Ripper's more compact companion, the Dipper Postcard ditches the kicktail in exchange for a flat tail, a tighter platform and narrower trucks so you can carve circles around all of your friends. This results in a tight-turning, responsive ride that will make your weekday commute or a casual weekend cruise the highlight of your day.

One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

LOW CAVE

Mellow concave that barely feels like it’s there, but designed to give you the control you need, when you need it.

ROCKER

Rocker provides a more comfortable foot platform by adjusting the deck angles to a skater’s natural stance. It also adds board control and increases responsiveness under your feet.

SANDED WHEEL WELLS

Wheel wells reduce the risk of wheel-bite by increasing the gap between wheels and deck. Sanded or CNC’d wheel wells both allow for larger wheels or looser trucks, if desired.

Length: 36"

The Dipper is a compact longboard shape that measures 36” long and 8.65 wide. It is similar to the Ripper, but even more compact for tighter carves and more agility. A slightly flexy ride and the long wheelbase give it a playful, surfy ride and lots of lean in carves. Mellow concave and a good amount of rocker will have your feet feeling at home on this board from the first ride.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

Funny

This is my first longboard, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, downhill, cruising, sliding or just chill with it. Although I'm getting into some little downhill and sliding, the dipper fits perfect and I love to just ride on Sundays in a long closed recreative street here mi my city Zapopan just vibing with my music and do little slides.

Awesome!

I'm 32 and just started again. It does not sway on a small slope (like dinghy). It gives confidence. I love to use it. Thanks landyachtz! (by the way, dinghy is very fun)

The Best

I bought this board for my friend. He absolutely loves it! He says it’s great for carving and pick up speed very quickly.

One of the best boards I've ever owned

I especially recommend the Dipper for anyone who already has a mini cruiser with 105 to 108mm trucks. You can put the Dinghy's trucks onto the Dipper and it feels like such a different ride. With the Dinghy's 105mm Polar Bears the Dipper is so wavy and has such nimble turning ability, yet the added length makes it notably more stable. The flex is especially comfortable, I find myself carving and pushing easily off the ground with the rhythm of the deck's bounce. I really did not expect to like this board as much as I did but I just trusted and gave it a chance.

Fun and Light

Compared to my other boards, the dipper is lighter and more flexible. I use it for cruising and carving. I purchased the deck, so I have different trucks and wheels. I also have the Ripper, which is also fun! I like the artwork and the paintjob is very good, with a glossy finish. It's a beautiful board.
