One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

DEEP CAVE

Concave designed to really lock your feet in while adding responsiveness and control.

DROP DOWN

A lowered foot platform provides the most stable ride and gives your feet pockets to lock into while skating. These boards are also easier for pushing and foot-breaking.

The Evo is a classic example of downhill board design and the concept continues to be effective to this day. A lowered platform and directional wedging work to give you a super stable ride and front-loaded steering that gives you a ton of control while cornering hard. The Evo 36 is the more compact of our two Evo shapes, and at 36" long by 9.5" wide it offers more grip in the corners and a much more agile, responsive ride than the 40. Pressed with 9 plies of Canadian maple, the Evo 36 offers a stiff platform for downhill performance. New this year, the Evo comes with 155mm Gen 6 Bear Grizzly trucks to give you a bit more of a defined hookup from drifts and more control over the steering. The Evo rolls on 73mm 76a Biggie Hawgs for lots of roll speed and grip as well as predictable drifts.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

Fantastic Downhill Board

For the price this board is totally worth it, the trucks are extremely stable and provide stability and confidence at speeds upwards of 40 mph. The board also allows you to carve and considerably lean into the board. Great board for beginners getting into downhill boarding or veterans looking for a solid, fast and stable board for a reasonable price.

A more compact variant of the proven Evo 40

Amazing, outstanding board, combining all the best features of the Evo 40 that make that board so good for downhill (in particular the wedged front to keep all the steering up front and the dewedged rear for maximum stability in the back, much like a car with a solid rear axle), with a more compact platform that many riders may actually prefer since you can snugly lock your feet in up against both the front and rear wedges for maximum board control.  Riders under 6' will probably find this board more satisfying than the Evo 40, whose expansive platform makes locking your feet up against both the front and rear wedges result in a tad too wide a stance to be maximally comfortable when drifting/sliding.  The stock Evo 36 Spectrum ships with 155-mm Gen 6 Grizzlies and 72-mm Plow Kings (a setup optimized for speed), but if you’re looking more for a setup for long-distance riding over varied terrain from flat to hilly that requires you to push a lot and, like me, you live in an area with a lot of rough pavement, I suggest nice, wide 180-mm trucks (Gen 6 or even the previous Gen 5 852s which still have a place in my heart ’cause of the flippable hanger) matched with nice, big, soft 77-mm dual-duro Cheetah Hawgs for maximum robustness over crappy roads, in spite of the trade-off that 180-mm trucks will be slightly wider than the board at the back (resulting in potentially catching the rear wheels with your back foot while pushing on those rare occasions that you’re slightly…

Dope board

This is my second time buying the board after it was originally stolen from me. Definitely a great purchase. Stiff board but has great foot feel/foot holds. I’m able to carve with ease and feel stable as I bomb big hills. For sure recommend if you want to go fast but also still be able to carve.
