The Evo is a classic example of downhill board design and the concept continues to be effective to this day. A lowered platform and directional wedging work to give you a super stable ride and front-loaded steering that gives you a ton of control while cornering hard. The Evo 36 is the more compact of our two Evo shapes, and at 36" long by 9.5" wide it offers more grip in the corners and a much more agile, responsive ride than the 40. Pressed with 9 plies of Canadian maple, the Evo 36 offers a stiff platform for downhill performance. New this year, the Evo comes with 155mm Gen 6 Bear Grizzly trucks to give you a bit more of a defined hookup from drifts and more control over the steering. The Evo rolls on 73mm 76a Biggie Hawgs for lots of roll speed and grip as well as predictable drifts.

Perfect match for "old" skaters 60+

Sixty year old skater with over 70 hours on the board... Love it! My favorite feature of the Evo is the confidence inspiring, responsive, front steering (easily maneuvering around debris, yet remaining steady over rough pavement). Unlike my super agile dinghy dumptruck, which requires constant attention to ride, pushing and cruising on the Evo for 2-3 hours a day on flat ground is comfortable and very enjoyable. It is such a smooth ride my mind tends to wander, luckily, the wheels roll over small debris with ease and little loss of speed. Another great feature, one strong push is enough to travel quite a distance with enough speed for a bit of pumping or carving (great if you have prior knee or foot injuries like I do, and don't like to push). I highly recommend the Evo! My only complaint is the lack of fun graphic choices like you get with their other boards.

More like Evo thirty-sicksssss...

It's a great board. The low platform is confidence inspiring, and the 155mm trucks keep my uncoordinated ass from kicking the back wheel. The shorter hanger also makes carves and turns feel more responsive and sharp than with the paris 180s I'm used to riding. I'm a beginner from a very hilly area, and this board has quickly helped me go a few steps foward with my progress. I would absolutely recommend the evo, even if you're still a ways off from calling yourself an intermediate rider.

Fastest board in the world!!

This board is amazing for downhill and cruising! I’ve been using this board for about a month now and it is one of the best racing boards on the market. Also, it’s great for cruising around town if your into that too. My only complaint is that the wheels aren’t the best for sliding.
