Best Downhill Board that Money can Buy
I got this board a while back in a different color, and it was an amazing experience for me. After getting used to the feel of the board, appreciating the stability and responsiveness of it, I was able to take my downhill game to a whole new level. I bombed steep hills, long hills, curvy hills, all with an equal amount ease. I loved every second of every slide, and if I messed up and bit the dust, the first thing I checked was this board. Not a scratch usually...the Evo is built tough. My singular complaint has to do with riding over a gutter in the middle of the road in the first week of riding. My issue was not so much with the storm drain, which was easy to get over thanks to the stability of the board, but with the biggie Hawgs that came with my Evo. At the end of the ride I found them chipped pretty badly in the corners, and since I hadn’t fallen yet, I gathered that it must have been riding over the storm drain that caused them to chip. Wheels are expensive, and it’s disappointing when they get even a bit ruined in the first week of riding. All in all an amazing downhill/freeride board and my all-time favorite.
