A long wheelbase cruiser board made in small numbers using a maple, fiberglass and epoxy construction. Born from the desire for a different style cruiser board that pairs a longboard feel, in a compact package. The Schooner doesn’t subscribe to a specific riding style, and will be a lot of fun in any situation you find yourself in. A unique design and an all-new board for 2023, the Schooner is truly a work of art, structurally and visually.

Completes are shipping with 70mm 78a Black Supremes rather than the 72mm 78a Plow Kings pictured.

One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

Kicktail

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

Made in Canada

Ohhh Canada Eh!

PRE-CURED FIBERGLASS

Fiberglass is a lightweight yet extremely resilient material, used to either add extra stiffness to a solid maple board, or replace some maple plys and provide a snappy flex to a thinner flexy board.

ROCKER

Rocker provides a more comfortable foot platform by adjusting the deck angles to a skater’s natural stance. It also adds board control and increases responsiveness under your feet.

Fenders

Also known as pressed wheel wells, flares are part of the board shape. The resulting bumps in the concave on top allow for larger wheels, looser trucks, and provide better control and more precise foot placement.

Watch the Schooner in Action!

A longer wheelbase than most of our cruisers makes it more capable of riding fast. The snappy flex acts in multiple ways: it allows you to pump through your turns, and it dampens out vibrations on rough pavement, cracks, and debris. Flared wheel arches allow you to ride 70mm Hawgs Supremes, the ideal option for long fast cruises. Also available with Fatties, which are great for everyday cruising, and freeriding. Setup with Polar Bear 130mm trucks gives you a deep turning carve that is aggressive, yet controllable. We created something that gives you confidence in all types of terrain and is more fun to ride with a premium quality construction that provides a unique feel that makes cruising more fun!

Trucks

Wheels

We design our trucks and wheels to fit perfectly with each individual deck. We work tirelessly to ensure these elements come together to provide the best control and performance for your board. No slop, all control. Don't accept anything less than the perfect complete.   Learn More >

Flex Rating

Flex has a big impact on the overall feel of your board and is influenced by a bunch of different factors. The main ones being thickness of the deck, it's wheelbase and rider weight. To put the equation in laymans terms: more flex occurs when you decrease thickness of the deck, increase the wheelbase and increase rider weight. The more flex in your board the more carvy and agile it'll feel, less flex means it's more stable and suited for faster skating. We test every complete with a device we built in house, specifically to standardize flex ratings.

So far she’s a ripper!

This board is so fun for cruising! I’m a tall large footed person so definitely a great size for me and a great bridge between a longboard and cruiser

Just What I Was Looking For…

I noticed there weren’t too many reviews for this so wanted to give my experience for anybody on the fence about this board.

First, I normally ride a Dinghy and feel very comfortable on it. I’m 5’7”, 160lbs, with a relatively narrow stance and I feel like I can push the Dinghy forever. But I have been looking for ways to improve my ride (city riding, small hills, parking garages, rough pavement) without going to a drop-through or a true longboard.

The Schooner looked to be a solid choice and it has been. The best way I can describe it would be that it has “smoothed” out the ride. It feels like it just wants to keep rolling, pushing is a bit harder but it’s negligible and, for someone who is used to a smaller board, the added stability is welcome.

The downsides that I have found are that turning is a bit wider but, honestly, not by much. I was still able to run the lines I normally take and it was fine. Also, because of the larger wheels, longer wheelbase and slightly wider board, the fun-factor drops a little because going off curbs, rolling down hills and hitting small obstacles aren’t things I have to think about as much now.

Though I can’t speak to somebody’s experience who normally longboards, as someone who uses a mini-cruiser this feels very much like a middle ground. If you’re on the fence for this one I’d say go for it, I did and I haven’t been disappointed. It’s not really a longboard but it’s not a mini either. It’s a sailboat.
