Sidewalker Relay

The board is straight up fire. The graphics is one of a kind. It rides smooth and I enjoy cruising around on various surfaces on this board. It is slightly on the heavy side but that’s expected given it’s a 9.25” board vs the usual 8.25-8.5” I’m used to.

However, I wasn’t very happy with the purchasing process. A couple of days after I made the purchase, I got an email with a tracking number and was initially super stoked! Then a few moments later the tracking number became invalid. So I contacted LY for an explanation but didn’t get any response for a week or more. I think I sent a couple of emails over the period but no response. Now, I’m not disappointed because it took a few weeks for the board to ship. But the radio silence really put me on edge. That being said my first purchase prior to this ran smoothly so maybe this was an isolated case.

The board is here and I’m completely happy, though.

The wheels make it ridiculously easy to slide and sure it took a minute to learn but it felt great finally getting it down. And because of the kicktail, I was able to learn to ollie previously I only skated longboards but I wanted something because I'm taking a trip overseas into the city without having to trade for speed too much. But this board actually goes reasonably fast so it's been a great board so far!

I'm 40 and wanted to skateboard with my son so bought this as it looked more stable. It rolls so smoothly and handles cracks and pebbles like a champ. It's super stable but also responsive so I can make sharp corners. It's been perfect for this snowboarder trying out skateboarding.

I purchased this for my daughter as her first skateboard. Since then she and I have really enjoyed learning to skate.

Landyachtz seems like a great company with great products.

It is so smooth, slides well, really good downhill board.
