Just what I was hoping for!
I was skeptical at first when I ordered this board but I've had it for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier! I did a lot of research of surf skates and a lot of the reviews online say that Landyachtz doesn't make a "true surfskate". Which is partially true. This board is a bit of a hybrid but that's what makes it so fun. I have a Carver CX and it's only fun in short bursts. However, I can ride this board all day and still have a smile on my face at the end. If you are looking for a board that you can cruse long distances, can generate a lot of speed by pumping, and is relatively nimble, this board will not disappoint.
The only downside is the stock wheels are not great for generating and maintaining speed without kicking. I switched them out for 70mm 78a Surfskate Love wheels and its made a huge difference! The stock Hawgs don't grip enough and you will loose power when you really try to pump hard and they don't let you coast nearly as long. I gave the board quality a 4 due to the wheels alone. The rest of the set up is top quality all around, like everything else I've gotten from LY.
