Designed to rally big mountain terrain and conquer World Cup podiums, the Switchblade has proven itself equally adept at getting you to the grocery store and ripping down your local hill safely. The mellow drops, long wheelbase and low ride height combine to offer a drifty, confidence-inspiring board for riders looking to up their freeride game. The Switchblade 38 is the more compact version, offering a little bit more agility and grip, as well as being easier to ride for smaller riders.

One Board One Tree

To give back to the environment we have decided that for every skateboard we sell, we plant a tree. One tree produces at least 60 boards. So with our program, one tree will turn into at least 60 new trees planted.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

DROP DOWN

A lowered foot platform provides the most stable ride and gives your feet pockets to lock into while skating. These boards are also easier for pushing and foot-breaking.

DROP THROUGH

Drop through decks are lower to the ground and enjoy increase stability without sacrificing maneuverability.

Made in Canada

Ohhh Canada Eh!

SYMMETRICAL

Go both ways with symmetrical board design. Generally found in freeride and downhill decks, these boards allow the rider to skate both regular and switch without changing up their stance.

The Switchblade is a double dropped freeride shape that is designed to give you a low, comfortable platform for exploring big hills as well as getting around town as quickly as possible. Deep concave and foot pockets at the drops give you the reference points you need to explore the limits of your freeriding, and the 8 ply maple construction keeps the board stiff and under control. The 38 is the smaller of the two sizes we offer, measuring 38" long by 9.8" wide and offers a little more grip and agility. This board comes set up with 180mm Gen 6 Grizzly trucks and Hawgs wheels for premium freeride capabilities straight out of the box.

Flex Rating

So, what’s flex and why is it important to a skateboard? In skate-nerd terms, flex is the amount of displacement a deck sees when a specific amount of force is applied to it. Check out our formula to the left! There are a few factors that affect flex, like deck thickness, wheelbase, and the amount of force on a deck. We built a machine and put our entire lineup to the test by applying the exact same amount of force to all our boards and measured the displacement we saw in each. This gives a totally scientific and accurate flex range across our entire line! It’s important to understand flex when choosing a board. Here are some basics: Downhill/freeride skateboards will have less flex because you need a stiff platform to stand on when you’re bombing or gripping a corner at speed. Carving skateboards will have more flex, giving you the ability to sink into your turns and pump or carve with ease. Most cruisers, dance and ATV boards will have less flex for control when doing tricks but just enough to be forgiving when pushing around town. We’ve engineered our boards with the best flex for each style of riding but remember, flex is subjective so get out a see what you like the most!

BUY ITTTTTTTTT!!!!! :):):):)

Bought this board as my first longboard and it's no wonder it has such a reputation! Board is super dope in all areas! Love the cozy deck design :) Super smooth rides like butter, tasty carves and pump ability! I gots no complaints! (Yes, it may be a little pricey, but it's completely worth it for the quality of jazz and the amount of usage you're going to get out of the board! Go ahead and buy it! Treat yo self! :):):):):):):)

Smooth, balanced ride over multiple surface types

The Switchblade 40 offers a great platform with a comfortable ride on various surfaces. Uneven sidewalk joints and bumps are not a challenge at all for this board.

Love this deck!

Very easy to push and stop, awesome for long distances cruising. 36” is the best length for me! Right enough for the back foot to naturally place on the board after pushing. It is a bit on the heavy side but I am sure it is already lighter than the 38 and 40 inches decks and I have a light truck so it’s not a big problem for me lol.

Great board for a beginner

I’ve really enjoyed learning how to skate on this board. It’s taken me a little under a month to learn the basics well enough to bomb hills and carve at decent speeds around where I live. Footbraking is very easy because of the lowered deck. I’d say my only complaint is that the assembly quality (not the build quality, but rather things like lubricant application, mounting reliability, etc.) is a little lackluster, with the trucks mounting having come very loose after just a week of riding, and the trucks started squeaking recently as well. These are both easy issues to fix but it’s annoying as a beginner to have an issue like that since I’m not familiar with the normal aspects of maintenance of a board.
