Gen 6 Bear Trucks (155mm 40°)

Gen 6 Bear Trucks (155mm 40°)

Our flagship trucks, the Gen 6 Grizzlies, are designed for responsive deep carving and maneuverability. Compared to previous generations, we have added rake and offset to the Gen 6 Grizzlies to increase responsiveness and maneuverability without sacrificing stability. Along the way, we have also increased strength while decreasing weight meaning that these trucks can take a beating and keep coming back for more.

Also new for Gen 6, we are setting these trucks up with an insert bushing that keeps the hanger centred around the kingpin as the truck articulates. This lets you run your trucks looser without feeling twitchy or sloppy, unlocking even deeper carves and tighter turns.

The purpose of this truck is to provide the type of strength, durability, responsiveness and feel that you’ve come to expect from our products, and they do just that. With options for three different hanger widths and two baseplate angles, these trucks work well with almost any setup. Take your setup to the next level with a set of Gen 6 Grizzlies.

not what expected disappointing for me

40 degree 155mm feels like a cruising or dancing truck and i am not a heavy guy like 150lb so i was looking for a good downhill freeride truck and because i got the 2024 wolfshark thought the bear gen 6 was a no brainer but wish i went with a more familiar brand. I even got 93a venom plug bushings for the bottom and still very leany if you like that feeling of leany and smooth turning these might be for you. I just felt insecure going fast with these trucks. im sad going to tuck them away in a corner and try to forget about them.

Love these

I'd like to say I own the 155s and 130s. Love them for freeride and downhill. Or just pumping around. There's enough space to run split axle widths (130/138, 155/163), enough kingpin for medium barrels(while using inserts). And at 50°/37° and 50°/25° I'm having a ton of fun. My favorite trucks to date.

Love Bear Gen 6

Didn't mind upgrading to a little lighter and higher quality Ti truck for one of my lighter longboards. Great build quality and great ride as usual.

Flex Ratings

We’ve categorized the stiffness of our boards into 3 main groups, listed below.  The general rule is the faster you’re skating, the stiffer the deck, but this is not universal.

Flexy – Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.

Medium – The do it all of our boards, a perfect balance of stability and carve.

Stiff – From cruisers to downhill boards a stiff flex profile excels in stability and responsiveness.  Whether you’re dipping into driveways or bombing a mountain pass you’ll be down with the stiffness.
