Total noob.

First of all she's so beautiful. It was love at first sight.
Secondly she lives up to the hype. She carves like a dream, is incredibly stable, very manuverable in tight spaces and is so comfortable to ride everywhere.
And C she's Canadian, so she's polite and she loves to party.

She has laid my quiver to waste.

Beginner Skater

I'm a middle-aged person learning to skate and chose this one because of the wheel size and truck width, although the wheel base is a little long for what I wanted. LY doesn't have many cruiser boards with wide trucks and no flex so this was the closest option. My experienced skater friends all say that it's so smooth to ride but I'm finding the length back to the kick tail forces a wider stance than my body wants to use.

Peacemaker Vs. The Freedive

The peacemaker was a SKT in the landyachtz line up some time ago. It was 36 inches and it had a wheelbase between 25 and 26.5 inches. This board was massive at 9.9 inches and it was everything I wanted. I didn't find that board until after i found the freedive that is built with way more consideration for the components it will end up having as a complete setup. The 155mm bears at 40° paired with the supreme hawgs leave the wheels lining up with the widest part of the board providing you with more stability, control and predictability than the set up that used to come on the peacemake. The 180mms with the mini zombie hawgs put the wheels way out from under the board and that's something I've grown to hate. I have the peacemaker on my wall because its too big and it's not as tailored toward me. The freedive seems like it's tailored toward everyone.

Very Reactive, Very Sturdy

I went from a super big flexy board to this stiff and I would absolutely never go back. The board is very well made and responds to the smallest direction changes and it's amazing. If you are like me and going from flexy to stiff, this is the way to go. You won't regret it

My go too free ride board

This thing is absolutely amazing for slides. It’s definitely my go too for downhill just make sure you exchange the wheels for some slide wheels.

Flex Ratings

We’ve categorized the stiffness of our boards into 3 main groups, listed below.  The general rule is the faster you’re skating, the stiffer the deck, but this is not universal.

Flexy – Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.

Medium – The do it all of our boards, a perfect balance of stability and carve.

Stiff – From cruisers to downhill boards a stiff flex profile excels in stability and responsiveness.  Whether you’re dipping into driveways or bombing a mountain pass you’ll be down with the stiffness.
