These trucks inspire a lot of confidence in your ride, and they really shine when you’re bombing hills. Smooth and stable, responsive yet restrained. Plus, they look really good.
If you are looking for a stable truck option for downhill longboarding these are it. They come with 3 seperate barrel bushings that are high up on the durometer scale to ensure less wobbles! Stay shreddy
Been riding for years and have never had a precision truck before mostly rode in cast trucks, but let me tell you the feeling is incredible with the long bushing capability and the ultra precise shape and form, I can’t imagine not having these on any set up if mine
Kodiak trucks have a lot of performance and compared to the expensive precision trucks they compete with they skate just as good. I recommend you replace the pivot cups with riptides and get a set of pars risers insert bushings to unlock the kodiaks full potential. The stock bushings are very good quality tall barrels .
I have three sets of these trucks one on a switch 40 one set on a time machine and I’m going to setup a switchblade with these . They are super stable at 30+ mph and are very smooth when they turn .
Stoked on these for my DH setup. Very predictable.
We’ve categorized the stiffness of our boards into 3 main groups, listed below. The general rule is the faster you’re skating, the stiffer the deck, but this is not universal.
Flexy – Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.
Medium – The do it all of our boards, a perfect balance of stability and carve.
Stiff – From cruisers to downhill boards a stiff flex profile excels in stability and responsiveness. Whether you’re dipping into driveways or bombing a mountain pass you’ll be down with the stiffness.
