The Big Dipper is a flexy longboard shape measuring in at 42.2″ long by 9.48″ wide with a wheelbase of 29.8″. It’s made from a 7 ply Maple construction that gives it a responsive, positive flex that returns lots of energy in carves, without feeling soggy and dead. The flex dampens a lot of vibration and combined with the length, it doesn’t notice rough pavement at all. It’s like a freight train, it just won’t stop. We’ve kept the rocker and concave that we love from the Dipper and extended the wheelbase so that it’s nice and stable. 155mm Grizzlies pair perfectly with the longer wheelbase and added width for tight turns and amazing carves. The 63mm Doozies are mega wide and do a great job at sliding when you want them to while simultaneously holding their line when you need grip.

WHEELS
These wheels are one heck of a Doozie. They will keep you out of trouble, whether you are on or off the board. They will keep you rolling smoothly over anything in your path, they will obliterate any obstacle that gets in your way, and they will provide you with an amazing feeling on your skateboard. They slide smooth when you want them to slide, and they carry you through corners with lots of grip when you need them to. This is a fantastic wheel for anyone that is looking to add some crackerjack sassafras to their setup.
BEARINGS
Spaceballs are our answer to all of your bearing problems. Never again can you lose your washers, or spacers because we’ve built them into the inner race! On the functional side, this means your bearings are always mated correctly which negates any bearing-induced chatter.

This thing really is like a magic carpet. I've had similar cruising longboards and pintails in the past but this one pretty much feels like what I wished those ones were. The very subtle rocker is just enough to make the board feel chill & relaxed but not so much to make your feet sit at an awkward angle or drastically change the truck response. It has a generous & comfy amount of flex that's neither too springy or soggy. Great amount of foot room without feeling huge. Overall I think I could say this is my favorite deck that I've ever owned in the 40-ish inch range, and I've been riding for 20 years. I have mine set up as a long surfskate with Carver CX trucks & Waterborne Living Water wheels. Feels absolutely amazing!

We’ve categorized the stiffness of our boards into 3 main groups, listed below. The general rule is the faster you’re skating, the stiffer the deck, but this is not universal.
Flexy – Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.
Medium – The do it all of our boards, a perfect balance of stability and carve.
Stiff – From cruisers to downhill boards a stiff flex profile excels in stability and responsiveness. Whether you’re dipping into driveways or bombing a mountain pass you’ll be down with the stiffness.
