SCHOONER

The Ultimate Big Wheel Cruiser

The Schooner was first developed in 2016 from a simple idea: build a more stable, compact cruiser by increasing the wheelbase. Longer wheelbases mean more stability. They make boards easier to ride – and unlock higher speeds on paths, parking garages, and pump tracks.

Rethinking the Ride

The Dinghy Fender has always been one of our most popular models. That compact shape paired with big wheels just works.

But there’s a catch.

For such a small deck, it’s fast. Fast enough that not everyone feels comfortable stepping on and cruising right away. So we asked ourselves:

How do we keep that compact, big-wheel feel…
but make it more accessible and easier to ride.

Lessons from the Pump Track

Over the past few years, we’ve been putting in serious time on the pump track. Weekly sessions, two years straight. Five races. Tracking lap times and watching progression.

One thing became clear:

  • Bigger wheels carry more speed
  • Longer wheelbases make that speed easier to control

So we locked in on the idea – a Schooner built to run 74mm wheels.💡

And we started prototyping.

The Result:
Built to Ride Fast

(And Feel Good Doing It)

As soon as we hit the pump track with the new Schooner, the whole crew felt it.

_ More stable than a Dinghy.
_ Easier to ride.
_ Still fast. Still fun.
_ Great for cruising.
_ Incredible in the pump track.

This is what a big wheel cruiser should feel like.
