Designed to rally big mountain terrain and conquer World Cup podiums, the Switchblade has proven itself equally adept at getting you to the grocery store and ripping down your local hill safely. The mellow drops, long wheelbase and low ride height combine to offer a drifty, confidence-inspiring board for riders looking to up their freeride game. The Switchblade 38 is the more compact version, offering a little bit more agility and grip, as well as being easier to ride for smaller riders.

The Switchblade is a double dropped freeride shape that is designed to give you a low, comfortable platform for exploring big hills as well as getting around town as quickly as possible. Deep concave and foot pockets at the drops give you the reference points you need to explore the limits of your freeriding, and the 9 ply maple construction keeps the board stiff and under control. The 38 is the smaller of the two sizes we offer, measuring 38" long by 9.8" wide and offers a little more grip and agility. This board comes set up with 180mm Gen 6 Grizzly trucks and 70mm 80a Mini Zombie Hawgs wheels for premium freeride capabilities straight out of the box.

Highlights

  1. Drop foot platform for added stability
  2. Drop mounted for increased stability
  3. Symmetrical design for freeride bliss
  4. Perfectly paired components

Awesome Deck

I purchased only the deck. The design and shape are exactly what I wanted for downhill/freeride. I have this set up with:

- 165mm Paris Savants

- Venom bushings (90a duro roadside, 93a duro boardside)

- Zealous ceramic bearings

- 83a Orangutang Stimulus wheels

It’s so much fun to ride and pull quick slides!

First Landyachtz board

AMAZING but before you continue I have ridden this board HAAAARD just look at the pictures. I'm using butterballs from Sector9 for sliding.

This thing can carve more than my body will allow it to. Turns amazing very stable but still turns when you want it to. Very fast, I was going faster than cars on 30mph (I just started skating after 4-6 years). I weigh 250lbs and the board feels very firm hardly any flex. My feet need to get used to it since it's been a long time since I have ridden a longboard. If you weigh the same as I get some soft wheels your feet will thank you.

The price is reasonable but when I received the board I knew it was worth it. 12/10 in quality this is the best board I have ever owned, in fact, I had to buy a different board from landyachtz. That is how good these boards are.

YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!! YOU KNOW WHAT DASS ITTT, JUST BUY IT. BUY IT NOW!!!!
