A good time

Good Turn for carving/cruising on a TKP, while staying stable down hills. I don't have much else to say, rides good, feels good. No quality issues. Great truck!

Great design and quality. Great trucks.

Really nice fit and finish. The closest thing to old school mids out there.

130mm review (street / freestyle skater)

First off, I use these trucks with freestyle skateboarding wheels, (waltz deep dish) on an 8.25. I do a lot of basic street like 3 stair sets, basic 5050s and flat ground freestyle. The first thing I noticed about these trucks is that the axle width is longer than a normal truck. If i had street wheels it would be sticking out further than normal. I once emailed back and forth about the axle width measurement and couldn't get a straight answer telling me it was irrelevant or shouldn't matter too much. As someone who needs to know this stuff because I'm spending a lot of time in Rail stand/primo, it mattered A LOT and i thought that was kind of fishy that i couldn't get a straight up answer and it wasn't that helpful, but whatever, these trucks peaked my interest either way and sometimes i skate 8.0 sometimes 8.25 so i got them anyway to see where i'd go from there. Basically they measure 7.875". which is perfect for when i skate super-wide freestyle wheels to fit on my 8.25 because i could never use 8.0 trucks on an 8.25 with the wider freestyle wheels, i'd have to use the slimmer ones from Decomposed which are still good, but i like sliding and riding on the wide wheels better. I also like the adjustable wheelbase. I like to skate the nose as the tail and i use the shorter mounting option for the tail and skate the board backwards. on a 14.25 wb that roughly makes it a 13.875 WB. The only downside to doing this is that theres a lot of fingers of flat for ollie flip tricks but I dont really do those anyway. I feel like the axle placement feels similar to an independent or venture high. I'd prefer it was more outward/setback like a thunder or venture low because I've seen reviews on these trucks. people using them for street/transition don't use the secondary mounting options because it throws them off. And If I were designing these trucks I'd want to encourage people to utilize them because it gives you more options, it could literally be the selling point if done right but instead they're ignored (unless you're just using these for cruising). I just feel like if these trucks were more set back like thunders/venture lows, then using the secondary mounting options wouldn't make the board feel too flat, if anything proportionally it'd give you an Ace tail/nose, or both. I ride these with krux bottom bushing and bones hard bottom bushing as my top bushing + a riser pad on 54mm wheels and I still get wheelbite. I guess even with harder/taller bushings you could really tell these were really meant for carving. its good for that, but thats not what I'm looking for specifically but I deal with it in order to utilize its other benefits. Another thing I like about these trucks is they actually have decent grind clearance for being able to use such tall bushings.
Overall, I've only been skating these for maybe two months but I will continue to skate them for awhile because they allow me to have my favorite bushing combo, are the only truck that allows me to fit my favorite wheels for railstand/primo tricks on an 8.25, and have an adjustable wheelbase option. I'd give it 5 stars if it had hex head kingpin compatibility so I can replace it if it busts or put in an inverted one, and if its natural wheelbase was more comparable to thunders/venture lows so the secondary mounting options don't feel too flat, but then again, these are trucks coming from a carver brand and i'm not doing that. I'd say if you want to market these to street/all terrain skaters (which im not even sure if thats land yachtz' plan) but those two qualities would make it more beneficial. Its a solid truck with unique benefits.

Great product but shipped with defects

I love the trucks but they shipped with a big dent in the metal with some paint scraped off. I would be totally fine if they were an Oops model but they were full price.

Hey Brendan,

Thanks for taking time to leave a review with us,

Apologies on the aesthetic damage of the trucks. I'm curious if this either slipped past our QC, or was possibly damaged in shipping. Either way please reach out to our Customer Service team ( we will also email you separately) so we can get this sorted out for you. We would be glad to extend a discount code for you on this to make up for the damage and paying full price one it.

Cheers, talk soon

Won’t regret buying

These trucks are AWESOME! They are very durable. They’re great with speed or just cruising and There able to make really tight turns. They are definitely worth every penny

Flex Ratings

We’ve categorized the stiffness of our boards into 3 main groups, listed below.  The general rule is the faster you’re skating, the stiffer the deck, but this is not universal.

Flexy – Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.

Medium – The do it all of our boards, a perfect balance of stability and carve.

Stiff – From cruisers to downhill boards a stiff flex profile excels in stability and responsiveness.  Whether you’re dipping into driveways or bombing a mountain pass you’ll be down with the stiffness.
