An extra wide cruiser. Inspired by the surfy, functional boards from the early 90’s and has become our most popular cruiser board. It features modern concave, along with a full-size nose and tail. Ideal as a first cruiser, and a favorite among people with a traditional skate background.

  • Traditional Skate feel with more turn Polar Bear 130mm trucks & 63mm Fatty Hawgs

  • Artwork Tim Johnson

$99.99 $199.99Price range: $99.99 through $199.99

32.5” long and a maximum width of 9.9”. The Raft has a subtle taper and big width, matched with a nice, tub concave to give you lots of foot space and provide added confidence and comfort. It takes our proven cruiser setups from the Dinghy and Tugboat and puts them into a different shape that is perfect for skating around any urban environment. The setup is 130mm Polar Bear traditional kingpin trucks and 63mm Fatty Hawgs. Combined with half inch risers for phenomenal wheel clearance, this board adds confidence and flow to your riding style and is secretly a mega carver disguised as an old-school street skate. Perfect beginner board or for veterans that want a wide cruiser.

Sanded Wheel Wells

Wheel wells are sanded into the board to expand wheel size compatability.

Medium Cave

The perfect middle ground, enough concave that you always feel glued to your board, but not too much to hurt your feet during a longer cruise.

Kicktail

Take your skating into the third dimension with a kicktail. We design our kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.

100% Canadian Maple

Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world’s best skateboards. We source only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.

TRUCKS

Polar Bear 130mm

Some of us still like to ride a board that is a bit on the narrower-side. And, of course, you need trucks to match it. If you step down in board size then it’s time to step it up to the 130mm Polar Bears. Sold in pairs. Bushings: 85a is softer, 90a is harder. Softer bushings are more lively but less stable – with 88a being what we usually use in our completes.

WHEELS

63mm Fatty Hawgs

Made famous as the wheel of choice on our Dinghy completes, 63mm Fatty Hawgs are the ideal match for this setup. Designed to roll fast and smooth, these wheels handle cracks, rough pavement, and whatever else the streets throw at you with ease.

We use high-quality 78a urethane to give you the perfect balance of grip and slide, making for a fun, responsive ride. Their compact size keeps your board nimble, while the extra width adds stability and comfort. If you love how this board feels straight out of the box, Fatty Hawgs are a big reason why.

BEARINGS

SPACEBALLS

Spaceballs are our answer to all of your bearing problems.  Never again can you lose your washers, or spacers because we’ve built them into the inner race!  On the functional side, this means your bearings are always mated correctly which negates any bearing-induced chatter.

The Raft Review
Absolutely love everything about the board the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because whoever assembled the grip tape left several bubbles and I had to use a razor blade myself when it arrived and it only helped so much. But overall that's my only complaint

Buttery as life
Yo this board is super top notch. Buttery as life and super surfy. What surprised me most is that it is my fastest board. The trout graphic is next level too. Definitely get this board.

Very cool!
This is the only time I’ve ever bought a board purely for the graphic. Sadly I never rode it. Beautiful board, but I can’t give it a proper review for people wondering if they want to rip around on this. But if you know anything about Landyachtz, you know it’s quality.

Smooth ride
This is my first serious time on a skateboard, and I wanted a wide, smooth cruiser. I have no interest in ever doing a kick flip. The Raft certainly fits the bill for my needs. The ride is indeed smooth, and you can coast a long way on it. Since this is my first board, I do crave stability and I wonder if slightly wider trucks would aid in that pursuit. It also does feel a bit high off the ground, but these are just the thoughts of a newbie. As I grow in confidence, these may become afterthoughts. So far, the Raft suits me just fine.

Raft Trout Deck
This deck exceeded expectations. The art is stunning. May get a replacement deck. Paired with indy 149mm stage 11, 66mm Powell Primos. 1/4 riser +shock pad. Talk about a functional kick tail and stable cruise. I'm so stable my ollies are finally floating. And with all the board space and soft wheels, I'm landing on a Serta, baby. You're all class, Landyachts. Keep on with your skate sorcery!

Flex Ratings

We’ve categorized the stiffness of our boards into 3 main groups, listed below.  The general rule is the faster you’re skating, the stiffer the deck, but this is not universal.

Flexy – Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.

Medium – The do it all of our boards, a perfect balance of stability and carve.

Stiff – From cruisers to downhill boards a stiff flex profile excels in stability and responsiveness.  Whether you’re dipping into driveways or bombing a mountain pass you’ll be down with the stiffness.
